Visual Testing
Visual Testing (VT), also known as Visual Inspection is the original method of NDT. It is easily carried out, inexpensive and does not require specialist equipment. It is typically the first step in the examination process to inspect a variety of product forms.
Testa can provide technicians to carry out Visual Testing on castings, forgings or welded components. With a huge amount of experience of visual inspections. Having carried out work at a broad range of locations, such as fabrication engineers, offshore installations, cranes, amusement parks, gas terminals and FPSO's.
At Testa, all the NDT technicians we use, are qualified to industry recognised PCN (personnel certification in non-destructive testing) in accordance with BS EN ISO 9712.
